How to reach Akros Oreon Houses Kato Symi, Crete
Coming from Heraklion: Distance 65 km, approximately 1 hour.
From the national highway, at the Heraklion Industrial Area, take the direction of Viannos.
The new road will take you to Arkalohori. From Arkalohori, follow the bypass towards Viannos, which ends at the village of Karavado. Continue towards Viannos. After Viannos, you will come to the villages of Amiras and Pefko.
At the exit of the village of Pefkos, turn left at the junction towards Kato Symi, following the main road (3 km). We cross the settlement of Kato Symi, following the signs for "Akros Oreon. (Last 300 meters part is of road)
Coming from Ierapetra: Distance 30 km, approximately 1/2 hour. Follow the direction of Viannos, pass the villages of Myrtos and Mournies, and continue to the village of Pefkos. Before entering the village of Pefkos, turn right at the junction towards Kato Symi (3 km). Drive through the village of Kato Symi, following the signs for "Akros Oreon." After a small river, the road leads to the accommodation.
The road from Ierapetra to Kato Symi is a winding country road in good condition. Access to the accommodation for the last 400 meters is via a picturesque 400 m.of road that crosses a small stream.
